OUR MINISTRIES
Emmanuel Baptist Church offers its congregation several different ways to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ, as well as many different ways to minister to its community through service.
Sunday school
As a church blessed to have a children with in a wide age range, we offer Sunday School classes to help nurture faith at an early age, and classes constructed to strengthen and foster biblical teachings as children get older. Adults alike have the chance to study and grow with a fellowship of believers on Sunday morning. Our hope as a congregation of believers is to help Christ create a new generation of strong biblical believers, and renew and refill The Spirit in the current one.
Worship
Every Sunday during the school year, we have a worship service in our chapel hall starting at 10:45 am. In the summer months, our worship service starts at 9:30 am. Our praise team blends both contemporary and hymn style music. While our senior pastor, Jason Oaks, offers a biblically-based sermon relevant to everyday life. We invite you to hear what the word of God has to offer you in a warm, enthusiastic, Christ-oriented fellowship.
Prayer
As a church, we seek guidance, understanding, and communion with God through prayer. At Emmanuel Baptist Church we offer several places to get connected through prayer. Whether it's prayer groups, prayer chains, or even corprate prayer, there is a place for you.
Service
Emmanuel Baptist Church is proud to be a service oriented congregation in the community and region. We host the local chapter of M.O.P.S. (Mothers of Pre-schoolers) and work with the local school school district during the summer to feed children. Emmanuel Baptist Church also partners with operation Christmas Child - sending shoeboxes of needed items to children overseas. EBC seeks to plug into the community and be of service on a broader scale.
Youth
We have a youth center open Friday evenings for a safe and friendly atmosphere as well as an active and strong Youth Group. Emmanuel Baptist church is a great place for kids to to grow in their faith and create lasting connections with other like minded youth.
Adults
The more experienced generation of followers has a place, not only to maintain their relationship with Christ, but use their energy and talents where they are greatly appreciated and put to practical use.
